More thorough cleaning could potentially resolve this issue.The rest of the components were functioning as expected.Battery is functional with 888 charge cycles, macOS states that the battery condition is "Service Recommended" (documented in pictures). Cosmetic condition: Small dents found on sides/edges of unit (see pictures). Some wear around thunderbolt ports on side of unit. Top of clamshell in relatively good shape, glass has signs of wear, LCD in good shape (no bright spots). Display hinges have a slight give when set to a certain position, but display will remain in that relative position. Bottom has scratching and discoloration (see pictures, but you never really look at the bottom anyway).Erased with a fresh copy of macOS Monterey, no Activation/iCloud/MDM locks, ready to use.Power adapter not included.Ships in an original 15" Macbook Pro 2016 box.
