Rest A While, BluesBlack And White, RagNervous BluesNovelty RagI’ve Got The Red White And Blues, BluesRag Baby, RagArkansas BluesPoverty RagGypsy BluesJack Rabbit RagBlack and White Rag was written in 1908 by George Botsford. It was recorded widely for both the phonograph and player piano. It was the third ragtime composition to sell over one million copies of sheet music. Interest in the song grew in 1941 with pianist Wally Rose's recording of it, but the most famous version was recorded in 1952 by Trinidadian pianist Winifred Atwell.
