I'm reluctantly slimming down my banjolele collection so be sure to check out my other listings if you have the banjolele "bug" like me. I'm offering for sale this 1920s Stromberg Voisinet banjo ukulele. These are among my favorite sounding/playing banjoleles. Construction appears to be largely maple. Dark stained maple neck and turned resonator. The pot appears to be maple with a walnut veneer on the exterior. I believe the fingerboard is ebonized maple. 8" pot 13 7/8" scale length1 1/4" nut width9.5" Solid turned resonator (stained maple I believe)Modern Grover friction pegs that work beautifully Fretwire has been replaced prior to my ownership to large guitar wire. Super smooth and comfortable to play. I replaced the calfskin and tuners when it came into my possession. Sounds fantastic and plays beautifully.
