This exceptional trumpet from Benge is a custom-built instrument featuring a tempered bell for optimal sound quality. Made in the USA, this resno-tempered bell 3 trumpet has a .460 bore size and three piston valves for smooth playing. The trumpet comes with a mouthpiece and case, making it easy to transport and store. Mouthpiece is a Back 10C. Ideal for advanced and expert players, this Bb trumpet has a beautiful silver finish and a bell diameter of 4.59". Its body is made of brass and the valve type is piston. This trumpet is perfect for both classical and jazz music. Get your hands on this top-of-the-line instrument and take your playing to the next level. Serial no.12572 indicates the trumpet was made in 1974 and is one of the most sought after and rare Benge trumpets. Original finish. The tone is exceptional. I would not endeavor to fix the dents in the bell as shown in the pictures. Take the stinger out of the plunger mute and you become Miles Davis. It has tight compression and has been well maintained, despite the erosion of the finish from my hands. Ferrule connecting the bell to the first valve has a "3" printed on it.
