We have upfor grabs a Selmer Paris 24B “Modified K’ Series Trumpet serial number 38XXX,making it from 1967. It exceeds theminimum valve pressure according to our professional brass shop, so it is stillvery much a playable horn. As for the lacquer,it is at roughly 65% to 70% of itscovering and the engravings are still well intact. A chemical clean was recently done on thishorn to clean out the valves and slides by our professional brass shop, and wefeel this horn is a player’s delight that would make a great addition to yourplaying rotation.
