Amazing large antique pine chest from the early 1800s, painted its original barn red and loaded with patina. All of the hardware is hand-forged iron, so the fasteners are all slightly different. Hand-chiseled dovetail joints. Perfect height for double duty as a bench. Inside is odor-free! The trunk had been locked at one point and someone cut the latch with a hacksaw, so it no longer locks.DIMENSIONS: 39” w, 18” d, 16.5” h
