Trek 700 road bike circa 1986. Built by hand in Waterloo, Wisconsin with Trek investment cast lugs. This bike is full Reynolds 531c — frame, fork, and stays. The ride is lively. This bike responds when you push the pedals. Seat tube measures 22.5 inches or 57.15 cm, center to top. Top tube measures 56 cm center to center. This bike is ready to ride. Everything works. The functional condition is good to very good. The cosmetic condition is fair. The frame has scuffs, scratches, bits of grease and dirt, and several spots of surface rust where the paint is chipped or missing (see the photos of the fork crown and the drive-side chainstay as examples of surface rust on the frame). No dents.I cleaned this bike, gently, after I took the photos, so it is cleaner now than what you see here. :)The rim eyelets have rust on them. The rear tire has a gouge in the tread about 3mm across and about 1mm deep, from a sharp rock. Can't feel the gouge when riding, but wanted to disclose it.
