Thank you for viewing our listing! Up for your consideration is this c. 1900 interior oil painting of a distinguished gentleman reading a newspaper surrounded by his English Setter dogs. The painting does have a large tear through the gentleman and some other punctures in the canvas on the left dog. The painting is paired with a period gold frame in nice condition. I have not been able to find a signature but there is some pencil writing on the stretcher.
