Here is a Trumpet I have had for many years. I came up with this idea awhile back , how cool it would be to change different trumpet bells on the fly. For instance, let’s say you have a favorite bell and or sound you like, all you need to do is simply screw it into the existing bell tube and, Bingo, your sound has instantly changed . My friend and Brass tech decided to use this Mercedes because it’s very,very close to a Bach Stradivarius. It just happens to be that year I needed to complete my experiment. She feels exactly like a Strad in my hands as does the valve action and sound I’m used to feeling. Same exact buttons caps springs etc. So, if you wanted to use a Bach. 37,43,72, or any other bell you could very easily screw on ( here we are using the original 1972 Mercedes bell ( NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE MERCEDES II ,or the older New York model , this is the original bell , coming to you with an older Rudy Muck bell , and a older Martin Indiana bell. All three very cool individual sounds. The bore is .459 /60 and the mouthpiece is an older New York Bach #6. The case is an older New York Bach case, when I bought the trumpet this case and mouthpiece were all intact. The work had been performed much later. Thank you, free shipping is included.
