For your kind consideration is this vintage Slingerland 5.5x14 snare drum shell project. This appears to be a laminated shell under the paint which would've been found on a Hollywood Ace though it is drilled for a three point No. 967 Radio King strainer making this a rare one. There are holes drilled for 8 separate tension lugs and a No. 1080 tone control. No additional holes were added. This would make a great starting point for your newest vintage snare project.
