BACH STRADIVARIUS model 42 TROMBONE needs TLC no case no mouthpiece NO RESERVE!Offered for auction is this classic early 1980's Vincent Bach Stradivarius model 42 trombone with F-attachment. Serial number is 54544. Disassembled in two pieces each section is about 30 inches long, bell diameter is 8-1/2 inches, and total weight is just over 4 lbs. This instrument appears to be well used but looks like it should still play fine with the addition of a mouthpiece. The slide is still smooth even though there are some small dents on the inside tube (see photos.) There are other small dents here and there on this instrument that I've shown in the photos, especially at the round ends. The bell is in the proper shape but it looks like it was dented once and reformed. The entire finish needs attention but I will leave that up to the buyer and have not polished anything myself.
