Thank you for viewing our listing! Up for your consideration is this 19thC signed ornate oil painting of an interior “Versailles like” genre scene featuring a lavish intimate dinner party. It’s a beautiful painting and was executed very well and is signed in the bottom right corner. I can’t make out the name but have provided close up pictures. As you can see this painting has sustained some tearing in the upper middle of the painting and is need of a patch/ restoration, the rest of the painting is in very nice condition with some stable craquelure. Very nice European style antique stretcher. With some restoration this painting would look amazing in a gold frame!
