This 1981 Yamaha G-240 II Spruce/Rosewood Classical guitar is in excellent vintage condition. It is coming from a humidity controlled, clean and smoking free home. The instrument is structurally flawless, with no cracks or separations. The neck is straight and true, and it has a low classical action. There are only minor surface marks and one shallow dent from years of loving playing. (Please see picture 3 and 8 with the yellow arrows.) It has a smooth and tight tuning machine.The sound of this guitar is rich and full, with truly delightful singing overtones. It strikes a great balance between brightness and warmth. It has good sustain, and offers excellent intonation in every position.The guitar is coming in a brand new dreadnought sized (oversized) hard shell case and will packaged with care.Local pickup in Redding, California is preferred but shipping is also available.
