It looks neaterand is a beautiful piece of workmanship.The bore is very special-producing afiner tone and better intonation which is especially noticeable on tones in theclosed position. The response isinstantaneous and it plays much easier.The slide is so distinctive, it willimmediately appeal to trombone players in both appearance and playingqualities. It is the first slide madewith closed position tone so true and clear that is a revelation to trombonistswhen they first try it.You will marvel at the wonderfultone and improved intonation, in fact, it is the only trombone made in tone inthe high resister (High D and F especially 1st position and a fine Bb). Made right before WW2, alldimensions match the legendary HN White King 2B Liberty Trombone the legend ofall trombones. This is a numbers matching horn. This trombone has been fully restored. The finish is new nickel silver and clear baked on lacquer which is ourmost durable finish and with proper care will last a long time. The body of the trombone is in great shape withno deep scratches or small dings. There is no corrosion on the new innerslides or anywhere on the horn. We have discounted the price of this trombone dueto the smallest amount of pitting on the slide. Please see all the pictures. Theslide operates smoothly, and is in perfect condition. · The finish is new and now 98%perfect.· The bell has been re-engraved for alittle extra pop.· There are no large dents or smalldings on the body of the trombone.· Both of the inner and outer tubesare original.· The slide is a ten out of ten, withregards to movement.· This is a numbers matching trombone.· Comes with original HN White madecounterweight.· Comes with vintage Vincent Bach MtVernon NY 8 mouthpiece.· Comes with new MTS case style case.Special note: We suspect that the bell is not original tothe trombone but this is how the trombone came to us.
