Here is a lovely, vintage mid-century modern, circa 1975, oil on canvas painting of people dining at a cafe at the St. Mark's Bascilica piazza in Venice.The gold-framed vertical picture measures 18.5" x 10.5" x 1.75" in full. The canvas itself measures 15" x 7.5".Signed in the bottom right-hand corner, not quite legible.You can see/feel a nice surface impasto.The colors are bright reds, blue, greens and brown.The canvas is in very fine vintage condition: no chips, scrapes, scratches or discoloration. The frame has some very minor chips, barely noticeable.Anyone who has visited this magnificent site will enjoy having this treasure in their home.
