This is a 2008 Black Gibson SG Standard Guitar made in the USA. You can see the serial number, USA stamp and date stamp on the back of the peg head with the naked eye but they are not showing up in the pictures because of the black color. She has the more preferable full black batwing pick-guard, double-cutaway mahogany body with beveled edges, for greater comfort and deeper resonating sound. The 498T (Treble) bridge and 490R (Rhythm) neck Humbucking pickups of this electric guitar gives you greater versatility and warm tones. This Gibson guitar boasts a rosewood fingerboard, and an angled head-stock for awesome playability. The hardware is chrome and there are four knobs, two for volume control and two for tone control with a three-way switch allowing you to manipulate the sound of her music. She is a right handed 6 string guitar. She has a 50s rounded neck profile. There is a Mother of Pearl Gibson logo on the front of the peg head. There are acrylic trapezoid inlays along her fingerboard with Gibson Deluxe Tuners. She has a Tune-O-Matic Bridge and a Stop Tail Piece. She sounds crisp and clear and is quick and easy to finger with a low comfortable action for bending the strings to initiate some types of professional guitar work. You can really enjoy her when you hear the pleasing intonation from the notes you play on this guitar. The frets are in outstanding condition with of course no dead frets and the chrome hardware is in like new condition too. She is very clean and well taken care of. You need to look close up to see a very small blemish on the back just barley viewable. She has never been repaired or broken. She doesn t appear to have been dropped and also doesn t seem to have been a victim of a tantrum. For a 2008 she is in excellent condition. Included is the USA Gibson black w/white fluff plush interior hard-body case. She comes with the original check list with her serial number from Gibson on it. This guitar has been professionally set-up recently at the Colorado Blvd. Guitar Center here in Denver by the Guitar Tech (Corben) with the $13.00 Ernie Ball .009 strings and is ready to perform.
