This is a limited quantity custom prototypes made by La Patrie (now Godin) for select dealers. It is similar to the Collection Series (highest grade of their line) except that it has solid Spruce top instead of Cedar wood. Godin does not make classical guitars with spruce top any more.The Made in Canada guitar has solid Spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and layered sides, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. The scale length is 25.66” scale length and neck width is 2” (51mm). The guitar is in excellent condition, with no blemish marks on the guitar except for small light scratches on the heel block (see last picture). There are two clear protective pickguards on either side of the sound hole. The original hard case is included. I've owned the same Collection series guitar with Cedar top, but chose to keep this Spruce top version because it has a vibrant, balanced tone with clearer sound separation. The sound quality is comparable to my other guitar Cordoba C10 but I am selling this one because I can only keep one before relocating in summer.
