For sale is a King 4B trombone built in 1981, serial number 8521xx. The 4B is a large bore trombone and features a .547 bore, 8.5-inch bell and cork barrel springs. Just had the instrument serviced and cleaned so it is ready to play right out of the shipping box. The valve has great compression and the handslide is very good with no inner chrome wear.As you will see in the photos, this particular instrument has miscellaneous lacquer wear throughout from use over the years. One of the latches on the case has a broken spring but still usable. It has that big warm sound a 4B is known for. If you are looking for a large bore trombone to play full time, or an instrument to use on the marching field and avoid exposing your beloved Bach 42 or Conn 88H to the elements of the outdoors, this horn would be perfect.Message me if you have any questions.
