Very fine, attractive vintage Olds Recording Tri color trumpet in original factory finish... A beauty.These early ones are hard to find.Nice playing vintage Olds trumpet. The serial number indicates 1951 (5XXXX). This model has the rose brass bell & lead pipe, nickel silver trim, regular brass throughout the rest of the horn, 3rd slide trigger works flawlessly, tune slide has trombone style water key.Notice valve casings are not bulged at the top. This feature is rare, only used on a few models early on. Nice playing good looking tri color vintage Olds from L.A. factor. Hand engraved in that era.Gone through by a NAPBIRT member, cleaned, lubed, & adjusted. Great valve action, valves have no issues, no dents on instrument, some small nicks etc if you look real close, minor. This is no closet queen but used and well preserved. Plays very well, mellow clear tone. Leadpipe clean and shiny inside.New valve springs, corks, felts.Great playing vintage Olds. Good valve compression.When you pull any slide you hear that hiss of air indicating good tight compression.No case or mouthpiece included. If you need either please advise. Will sell outside USA
