Vintage De Porceleyne Fles Cloisonn Art Tile ~~ Nederland Dutch Coat of Arms ~~ Here is a Vintage De Porceleyne Fles Cloisonn Art Tile showing the Dutch Coat of Arms or Shield and Nederland in script. It is in excellent condition. It measures 4.7 x 4.7 inch (12 x 12 cm) and 3/8 inch thick. Polychrome self-framed earthenware tile/plaque (factory pierced on top rim with wire installed), with typical tube-lined (raised cloisonn -like fences) technique decorated with a colorful shield crest or coat of arms for Nederland (i.e. Holland) with crowned lion d'or rampant on a blue ground with laurel wreath, banner by Porceleyne Fles, Delft, Holland, no date (probably post WWII) excellent/perfect condition, no loss, damage, wear, crazing or restoration. This is an interesting and decorative plaque or tile of medium size by the best modern Delft potter, the Porceleyne Fles. Typical PF impressed bottle mark + Delft on back. Please see pictures.
