Vintage Kent Tenor Resonator Banjo

I know nothing about banjos. This is actually the first banjo I have ever handled. It's not easy to find information on these early Kent instruments. I believe this to have been made in the 60's in Japan. It has four strings and 20 frets with a beautiful wooden resonator, which I think is walnut. The fingerboard appears to be rosewood with pearloid block inlays and the hardware is gold. The neck is bound as is the resonator and it also has beautiful purfling encircling it. This banjo is in fantastic condition as is the case which looks to be contemporary and possibly original to the instrument.
