This is a vintage, exquisite, ceramic decoupage in the form of a large teddy bear. The body of the bear is covered in a yellow, black, green, red, and brown patchwork motif, that is interspersed among small teddy bears and hearts. The teddy s face is accented by black eyes, a black nose, and a smile. The approximate measurements of the teddy are: 9 1/2 tall x 6 1/2 wide. The underside of the bear is lined with felt and it is in excellent condition; ie., there is absolutely no crazing nor abrasions. This bear is part of an estate that I have been charged with liquidating. I do know that this bear was a cabinet/display piece. This bear is unbranded but I do believe it is made by the Global Studio in Cornwall England. This is a lovely piece, and would make the perfect gift for any child or teddy bear collector!!!!
