Description:

This is a hand made stain glass mosaic wall cross crafted in Costa Rica. Featured are the color tile combinations of blue, green, purple, burgundy, pink, and orange; ie., carefully detailed, each piece of tile is accurately cut and fitted to create an exquisite design motif. Furthermore, this unique wall cross is composed of cut tile/glass that is adhered to a stained wooden base. Then it is grouted, hand polished and sealed for moisture protection. The cross is hand crafted from reforested wood; ie., a hard wood, not from the virgin tropical rain forest. On the backside of the cross is a pre-installed hanger for wall mounting. Also there is the insignia, hand made in Costa Rica by Artisan 12101 . This mark also represents that Artisan Inc. is part of the global fair trade initiative. I obtained this piece as part of an estate that I am charged with liquidating. It was a display piece that was not handled and is in excellent/like new condition.
