Created by the nation's premier Tamburitza maker, the late Milan Opacich, this Tamburitza is a phenomenal collector's piece. With instruments exhibited in places such as Renwick Gallery and Smithsonian Institution, Opacich easily earned his name in the Tamburitza Association of America Hall of Fame. This is a vintage instrument and is in remarkable condition for its age. While I do not professionally play this instrument, it stages a warm acoustic sound profile that can only be emitted from a highly crafted string instrument. This was acquired from an oil executive's collection that spared no expense. This offering includes a very good condition vintage high-end locking Excelsior Hard case with a key! READ THIS LINE. There was a small hairline crack on the lower right portion of the front soundboard that has been repaired. It followed the grain line and without looking for it, it is almost indistinguishable.
