Pre-Swatch Breguet Classique White Gold Watch in Collector Quality Mint condition. Complete as purchased by original owner in 2002: Leather box, outer box, leather certificate of origin, warranty and handbook, dealer receipt. Three black crocodile straps: original Breguet strap and two new Breguet straps. Two buckles: original Breguet tang buckle and new Breguet deployant buckle, both in white gold. Movement is highly decorated and contains power reserve guage to indicate when watch needs to be wound. This collector quality example of the original Classique is superb example of the original Breguet design DNA: manual guilloche silver dial, hand made blued silver hands, white gold case, gorgeous in house movement visible through exhibition back. Suitable size for man or woman and quite thin at only 8 mm. Breguet was acquired by Swatch after this watch was manufactured in late 1990s. Breguet changed thereafter: watches became outsized, asymmetrical dials, robotic guilloche, increased production and reduced quality control. This time capsule Classique represents the finest era of the turn of the century Breguet.
