Constructed from high-quality brass with a yellow brass finish, this trombone has a beautiful, golden color. It's perfect for those who are serious about their music and need an instrument that can keep up with their skill level. With its Bb/F key, this trombone is a true gem for all trombone players. This is, arguably, the best brand of trombone you can buy! They run for $5500 plus new!With that being said, this is obviously not a new instrument and show wear and minor dings from use. The functionality of the instrument is still superb! It sounds beautiful and plays flawlessly. Cosmetically the lacquer is starting to wear and in some places, ie the hand held areas, are more worn than others. Shires is notorious for using as little lacquer as possible to preserve the metals natural resonance. So, wear on the lacquer is the most popular issue. But, rest assure it does not affect the playing! The instrument could use a could professional cleaning. I have recently cleaned it at home, but a professional cleaning would do it justice. It comes with the trombone, a hard shell gig bag case, and 2 extra lead pipes. This is a Trombone player’s dream instrument at an intermediate trombone’s price point! Don’t let it slip away! Trombone is being sold as-is. Returns will not be accepted. The buyer understands that it is a good playing trombone, but has plenty of cosmetic flaws.
