Danish Modern Rosewood Dresser by Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co. This exquisite eight-drawer dresser is made in Denmark circa 1960’s, and is constructed using gorgeous rosewood and perched on 11" solid , thick and slightly tapered Rosewood legs. This is a remarkable piece that exemplifies MCM Danish furniture at its best. This dresser is solid wood throughout with the fine beautifully grained rosewood veneer on the exterior. ( NOTE: FOR THOSE NOT AWARE ALL FURNITURE HAS A VENEER EXTERIOR OR IT WOULDN'T BE POSSIBLE TO HAVE A FINE CONSISTENT GRAIN, EXCEPT FOR VERY RARE EXCEPTIONS SUCH AS LIVE EDGE FURNITURE ETC) .The bookmatched drawer faces create symmetry to the piece, while the recessed drawer pulls add a touch of elegance. Drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery and function smoothly. (accidently have left and right drawers switched in photos so the grain is off, obviously can be switched back) This dresser is almost perfect, but definitely considered to be in excellent condition with minor blemishes consistent with its age.NOTE: BUYER CAN ARRANGE SHIPPING AT BUYERS OWN EXPENSE.
