This is an original antique (late 19th century) hand carved Eastlake style arched top oak foot stool with original green upholstery with burgundy trim and brass tacks. Condition is very good, but there is a very early repair (or a wood seam as this is handmade) on one side where the bottom section with the feet was glued and screwed in place, shown in the photos. The entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. The finish is a little worn in some areas, but there is no other major damage. The upholstery is nearly 100% solid with a few tiny stress tears along the edges where it attaches to the stool. The cushion is a little stiff and feels like the original straw or horse hair. The stool measures 13 1/2" L x 10 1/2" W x 8" H andwill be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO Box.
