Here is an excellent condition, 2018 Darren Hippner Classical Guitar.This is a lovely classical guitar. It was hand-built by Darren Hippner in his Point Roberts, Washington workshop.This fine instrument was made using solid Rosewood for the back and sides, a Cedar neck and a solid Spruce top. The head stock cap is made using rosewood as well.This guitar has been refurbished using nitrocellulose lacquer, as it was finished originally. There are no cracks in the sides, back or top of this guitar.Scale length on this guitar is 650 millimeters. Nut width is 52 millimeters. The ebony fretboard and frets are in excellent condition with no play wear and the fret ends have been rounded and polished extra, beyond what Darren does from new for extra smooth playing. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 3.2 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 2.4 millimeters.The guitar is fitted with Rubner tuning keys that are smooth and hold tune well.The rosewood of this guitar was Indonesian grown of a Central/South American species (Most likely Dalbergia Nigra) from trees that were planted many decades ago.The combination of Rosewood and Spruce top give this guitar a bright sparkling treble tone, with an even bass to support it. The 7 fan braces with 2 closing braces create a very traditional classical sound, full of nuance, instead of the more boomy neutral tones of large body long scale guitars.The signed original label is in excellent condition.The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a hardshell case.Please see my other fine Classical and Flamenco guitars for sale.
