Vintage West Branch Art Deco Waterfall Cedar Trunk Hope Chest Bench with Light Stunning Art Deco West Branch Novelty Company Walnut Trunk / Blanket Chest features a classic waterfall design with rounded front top edge. Incredible grained and highly figured walnut wood features bookmatched details. Lots of storage space with compartments at the sides and a removable tray. Lined with Red Cedar, comes with original key but does not automatically lock when closed. There is a light in the top that turns on when opened, with a switch in the back to turn off. The West Branch Novelty Company of Milton, Pennsylvania was established in 1893. Three years after the company was incorporated in 1910, the cedar chests made by the company had become the most important single line of merchandise produced. Measures: 45" Long X 19" Deep X 22.5" High. Condition: This is a vintage piece and as such displays a mild level of wear from age.
