The needlework is a darling bird surrounded by a floral wreath. It does not have any noticeable stains. Please see ALL photos for many details. I used the maximum amount of 24 to be sure to show off this beautiful piece! This is a beautiful, sturdy, and well maintained foot stool. I do not recommend using it for more than its intended purpose, a place to rest your feet while sitting. I do feel it would be able to support more weight, but it is at least 40 years old and possibly older so if an adult were to use this repeatedly to support their weight, I would be concerned that it could break eventually. This is large and heavy plus needs to be packed with buffer space. Due to this, it is reflected in the shipping cost. Please ask any questions before purchasing. Thank you!♥️
