Custom Built Gaming PC -- $800 tower OR $900 complete set-up @stanford.edu

Price:
$800
Location:
Stanford, CA
Description:

Impress your friends and dominate your enemies with this custom built gaming PC which glows blue in the dark. It has a 2.66 GHz Intel Quad-core i7 920 processor and 6 GB of performance optimized Corsair Dominator 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM. I built this machine with overclocking in mind (all the components harmonize) but never actually overclocked it since it is plenty fast for all my needs as is. The price is $800 for the tower or $900 for the complete set-up (i.e., including 19" monitor, wireless mouse/keyboard, and speakers). Why am I selling this amazing machine? My research takes me all over the world so I replaced it with an Alienware laptop. The machine still works like new thanks to its high powered air cooling system. I've installed a clean copy of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit (included in the price), but when I used it I dual-booted Windows 7 and Archlinux. The machine has a Crossfire compliant Asus P6T motherboard with one Radeon HD 4890 graphics card installed (a second could be added thanks to the Crossfire support). The machine is housed in an Antec 900 gaming case for maximum upgrade-ability, with one 7" fan on top, two 5" fans on the side, and one 5" in back (plus additional fans for the CPU, graphics card, and power supply unit). The machine has a 1.5 TB Seagate Barricuda hard drive (7200 RPM), a 750 watt Antec Truepower power supply unit, and a Speedplus super writemaster DVD/CD reader/writer. The optional components are: Samsung Syncmaster 930B 19" LCD monitor, wireless Logitech mouse and keyboard, and Altec Lansing VS2320 speakers (left and right). This deal is a steal!
