Hi all, I am a grad student at Stanford and I have been keeping my house furniture in storage for more than a year (due to research abroad). Because I will do an extra year of research abroad, well, I decided to sell everything. I want to sell EVERYTHING to a single person/family at once, if possible. So please, please, don't message about a 9 buck toaster or a 12 buck coffee-table, please. Do buy the new one for the same price. I have a lot of furniture in very good condition, most of them from IKEA and some from Sears, all stored in a storage place in Hayward. If you are interested, send me an email from the message board here and we can arrange a visit with a u-haul truck or zip-van and I can deliver the furniture to your place -- UNTIL SATURDAY, DEC 12. Going to Hayward may seem like a lot, but you can bet no-one will deliver their second-hand furniture to your door, so I think this is a good opportunity for anyone who needs a deal on a long list of barely-used house furniture. Here is a list of the major items (beyond the longer list of smaller items, kitchen appliances/utensils/plate sets, etc.) with their "original" prices, which add up to $2220. I ASK $1500 FOR THE WHOLE BUNDLE, INCLUDING DELIVERY BY A ZIP-VAN MYSELF. IKEA Sultan Hanestad mattress and Sultan Atna box/frame (white/gray) $350 (200+150) IKEA Bjorkudden solid wood table (light pine/beige - natural color) $150 IKEA 2 x Solid wood foldable chairs (light pine/beige - natural color, tied red cushions) $40 (20x2) 2 x Metal black chairs from Sears (tied white cushions) $20 (10x2) IKEA Kivik white sofa (removable/washable covers) $550 IKEA 2 x Poang chair (black frame and red cushions) $300 (150x2) IKEA floor lamp with shelves (black metal frame and white lamp fixture) $30 IKEA Lack 3 x coffee table (light/beige) (set of 1 big and 2 smaller coffee tables) $50 (30+10+10) IKEA Malm, 6 drawer, (light/beige) high dresser $189 IKEA Herrup rug red (big size, roughly 150x230) $85 IKEA Billy white bookcase $49 IKEA Black metal framed bedroom mirror (I guess it is a Noresund) $29 Danby 18 inch portable dishwasher (DDW1899WP) $379 None of these items have been used more than 16 months, and (underlining this again) I could deliver all of them to your place with a truck, zip-van rental. I ALSO have a much longer list of small items, utensils, appliances (toaster, hair dryer, plate sets, knife-fork sets, small rugs, slow cooker, waffle-maker, etc.) all of which I purchased myself from Sears and Walmart. In short, I do have to finalize the items and come up with an estimate cost in a few days, after which I could update this ad and be ready to sell all those items. But I doubt they will be more than $500, which would make the total $2000. I do need to check and finalize though. Do email ASAP if you are interested and I will get back as soon as I can.
