*~* This was made as a copy of a 1776 Chair in about the 1960s Or 1970s .It had cracked on the seat and does have a brace on the bottom of the seat.. It does have some scuff marks and scratches on it. it has the pretty design of a soldier in the tapestry cover. The covers do have a couple small runs not bad for as long as this chair has been around..Its a Nice Display Piece and it folds up Nicely could even be hung on a wall if you choose to. Its from a smoke free home .*~*It measures about 38 inches high and 17 inches across and from front to back it is 30 inches from one end to the rockers to the other.
