Description:
19" by 13" Portfolio book "Kunsterheim" contains 23 of the initial 25 prints of initial German works tipped to heavy card stock backing boards. Prints are all in terrific shape, but the backing boards are cracked on the edges. The cover is brown cloth with gilt titles and decors. One of the interior flaps is separated from the book. Translation of description is that there were 25 prints from original drawings in pen, lead and chalk and coal. (4th collection) Published by light pressure. Safeguarded versus replica. Adolf Ackerman/Book and Art Dealer, Munich 1883.
