1920s 1930s unbranded tenor banjo project

Here is an unbranded tenor banjo, likely from the 1920s or 1930s. 10-3/4" pot. Skin head. Bell brand tailpiece. Rim is about 7/16" thick. 21" scale. It is not currently in playing condition. I have listed it as "non functioning" because that does indeed describe it's present state, but it's all there and how far you want to go with it is up to you. It wouldn't take much effort at all to make it functional but it looks like it will have too high an action when strung up. I would think the proper fix would be to reset the dowel stick and also remove some wood from the heel to change the neck angle. Maybe you have a different opinion or idea. I will leave that up to you. I have not strung this up so I can't say how much the bridge will sink into the top, thus altering the action. I truthfully can't comment on how high the action will be if strung up "as is", it just looks like it will be uncomfortably high to me. I will leave it "as found". There is a drip of varnish on the neck so it may have been top coated. It comes with a canvas end loading case that could be repaired.... it needs a little leather mending and/or replacement. Sold as is. This is cross posted on reverb. If it sells on either site, I will remove it from the other as quickly as I can.
