Late 1930s Oahu Publishing Parlor Acoustic Guitar. This is not the more common square neck sliders that are listed from the 1940s. This is the earlier V neck from late 30s blues strummer. Completely playable. Replace the 25 year old strings and it will take you straight into the deep delta blues. Yes they sound better with age. Bought this for a retirement project but life has other plans. Needs mostly refinishing to bring back to it's glory. Neck is straight, frets have plenty of life left in them. No pull on bridge and no seperation at neck pocket. Many lite suface scratchs that will sand out completely. Small crack on bottom left face and small crack on right side bottom, neither appear to go all the way thur. There is a slight gap in some spots where front and back meets side panals but no seperations. May have been reglued many years ago, however the gap should fill in nicely. There is a piece of wood missing on bottom right face. ( See last three Pictures ). Overall condition for a 85 year old guitar is still good. Happy to answer any questions.
