1942 Epiphone Electar Coronet Tube Amplifier

This is a beautiful pre-WWII vintage tube amplifier. This amp pre-dates the era of solid body electric guitars and would have been sold as a companion for a lap steel guitar or early hollow body jazz guitar. Aside from the missing handle, the amplifier looks to be complete and original. There is not much information available on these amps but you can find some information by searching for "NY epi registry". The speaker looks to be in very good shape with no visible tears. The serial number of 10138 dates this amp to the final year of production for the "Coronet" which was 1942. Bid with confidence. I will double bubble wrap the amp for shipment and will use packing peanuts for a tight and snug fit. If shipping seems to high, contact me and I will quote you actual shipping and handling costs.
