Description:
Red single speed 1958 vintage Schwinn Breeze women's bicycle. 26" tires. Comes with the rare basket. This was my Mom's and she's 80 now and finally decided it was too dangerous to ride a bike anymore. A year or two ago I had new tires professionally put on for her. This is an vintage bike so there is rust scratches etc but overall the bike is in great working order. The serial is DF30778 which dates this bike as being produced in Chicago in 1958. More details below -original Schwinn seat appears to be in great condition with no cracks or anything -Wald basket -26" wheels which appear to not be bent front wheel is missing 2 spokes all spokes are intact in rear wheel -front back 26 x 1 3/8 x 1 1/4 Mensa tires front seems to be holding air rear is not holding air -original Bendix rear brakes Pickup in Leonardtown. I primarily work from home so am very available.
