Up for auction is an estate found 1960's (?). Mosrite of California model Combo Hollow Body Electric Guitar. The orange label is stamped " style Combo Serial # H0760 Mosrite Of California Inc. This instrument is guaranteed against faulty workmanship and defective materials Bakersfield California USA"We are not musicians nor experts of vintage instruments-we buy them when we find them. Having said that the description is offered as best we understand... The guitar was plugged in, strums, no funny noises, knobs and switches appear to work as they should. The neck looks straight, metal frets look low, the binding is right and tight, finish has lots of checking, some light dings-see pics, one metal grommet on the neck metal screws has splits. The guitar is as found, dusty untouched by new hands is quite some time. Expect to clean it, new strings and whatever tune up it may or may not need. The case is likely original-it SMELLS musty.We can't find much information on this model. Is it worth more than we're asking-do you know the worth-we don't.This guitar is being relisted due to a basement dwelling bidder that did not have mom's permission or the money to pay.Please only bid if you can pay for the item. On Jan-14-24 at 16:18:03 PST, seller added the following information:Someone asked if the guitar got wet-NO. The case was stored in the basement and the guitar was found in the upstairs closet. I almost hate to ship the guitar in the case. Expect a waft of musty case.
