1975 Alvarez by Kazuo YairiNylon string classical guitarSolid Cedar top, Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck (seriously awesome mahogany)Honestly, I bought this guitar because I had been researching Yairi and how amazing they are.The guitar is just not a fit for me. I refer to this guitar as my "grand piano."I'll be replacing it with a flamenco guitar, so you can see why I am not the right owner for it. My technique is just not good enough for this level of instrument.This guitar's build quality is insane and it sounds amazing.There are some scratches in the finish, zero structural issues. Two blemishes are shown in the photos: one showing a small amount of water damage in the finish near the neck and another showing scratching in the finish located on the knee side of the guitar. All the scratches are surface level and can be fixed. I had considered taking it to a luthier to buff the finish, but I've done enough (new tuners, monitoring moisture level, oiling, etc. Does not include a case. Currently has high-tension Savarez strings on it and I'll include a fresh set in the package.
