1. It's a low serial number vintage PRS from 1986, among the first thousand guitars made by the company. It's not only a great-sounding and beautifully designed guitar but also a wise investment, appreciating 5-10% in value each year, similar to vintage Gibson and Fender guitars.2. It features a custom color - Cherry Sunburst, which was a special order, not a store purchase. Back then, Paul Reed Smith didn't have large-scale sales, and many guitars were custom-made. This PRS was more expensive due to its color.3. This 1986 PRS Custom 24 Cherry Sunburst also has a specially selected top. Before 1987, PRS didn't offer a 10 top option or Artist Package. This option, called "highly figured maple top," was rare and expensive.4. The guitar's headstock bears Paul Reed Smith's old signature from 1986, well-preserved.5. The guitar is all original6. If you're not just a collector but also a musician who understands the special sound quality of certain guitars, this is the instrument sought after worldwide for its exceptional look and sound. The fretboard is made from selected Brazilian rosewood, the top is highly figured east coast maple, and the neck and body are made from selected Honduran mahogany. The pickups and electronics are from the Gold Era Of Paul Reed Smith Guitars, the legendary PRS Treble and Bass pickups (Stamped T!), which were reissued by PRS in 2015 as the PRS 85/15.9. The guitar is in perfect condition for being over 30 years old, with frets like new. It's spent most of its life in its case, showing little play wear. The original case is also in good condition with blue lining.10. The guitar features bird inlays, doubling its value. It's unique in its condition, top, and sound - a combination of the best in appearance and audio quality.
