1991 Stumpjumper Comp - This frame has some dents on the left chain stay. I am not the original owner. I got this at a swap meet so I am not sure how they got there. It measures 18.5" c-c 20" c-t. To assess the damage, I sanded the left stay to make sure there were no crimps/cracks. Then I rattle canned the WHOLE rear triangle with primer to protect the raw metal. I didn't need to do the whole rear triangle, but the paint was scratched from locking/leaning so I thought I'd try and make it look a little nicer. After It was painted, it was polished, and waxed. The right chain stay is fine, I just added a slap protector. l rode this for a while, but it is a touch too small for me. I found a larger frame for the og XT parts. The rear wheel when installed sits straight so the frame is not out of alignment. The rest of the frame is fine minus typical scuffs/scratches. It's jumping days are probably done. If you buy this, you're getting a used dented frame. I'd keep it to light curb hopping, and just keep an eye on the dents. THE FULL BIKE PICS ARE FOR REFERENCE ONLY! You just get the frame.
