Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a lot of two (2) C.G. Conn Ltd. French horns. The buyer will receive both instruments shown, which appear to be the same model. These are single horns. Both are silver plated. Both come with cases, but there are no mouthpieces, nor any other accessories included. These are former school horns that were retired by the district that owned them . As such, they have I.D. markings engraved on the bells under the brand name, and painted on the exteriors of the cases. Both instruments appear to be complete, but have not been tested. Below are additional details regarding condition for each instrument. I strive to be as thorough as possible, but please understand that these are old school horns, so I can't detail every ding and scratch. Please check out the pictures carefully, and ask questions if in doubt.#1 - Has dents, dings, and flat spots throughout. The rim of the bell is wavy from being bent and repaired. It looks like there are a couple of re-soldered braces. All tuning slides are free. Compression seems pretty good, with an audible pop when pulling the three main slides. The valve caps aren't frozen. The keys are moving freely and rebounding quickly when released. They are a little clanky sounding though. I'm sure they need some lubrication at the very least. The case is in good condition. It has normal wear and tear both inside and out. Some of the exterior bumpers are pushed in, but no other damage to the plastic shell.#2 - Has dents, dings, and flat spots throughout. I would say the dents on this one are more numerous, and deeper. The rim of the bell looks good. There is a pretty serious kink in the tubing just before the lead pipe. It might be cracked, but I can't say for sure. There are a couple of re-soldered joints, one with some excess solder around it. All tuning slides are free. Compression seems pretty good, with an audible pop when pulling the three main slides. The valve caps aren't frozen. The keys are moving freely and rebounding quickly when released. They are a little clanky sounding though. I'm sure they need some lubrication at the very least. The case is in good condition. It has normal wear and tear both inside and out.
