The mac is in good condition. Its speedy and I have had no issues of it lagging or crashing ever in the last 3 years. I am moving onto a retina display but I do realize three years ago how I wish I could have owned a Mac at the price of my Dell. Finally I ended up tripling my budget and going for this. But hey, why can't I fulfill your dreams of owning a mac for less than $600?Its super light weight compared to any PC, it has no issues of crashing and virus ever. Will come cleant of all data and with the OS Lion installed. I have twice purchased new OS upgrades on this since my first buy and 20$ a year gets me the latest and greatest from Apple
