I'm offering for sale here an old air compressor from the Westinghouse Air Brake Company of Wilmerding, Pa., U.S.A. Specs.: Type Y, Mod.# 5YCAL, Ser.# 248384. It's a V-2, 2 stage, capable of continuous operation (engine driven). Output might be approx. 50 to 60 C.F.M. It was reconditioned in April of 2000 and has not been used since. I don't know its exact application but I was told by railroad people it may have been in a yard switcher loco., or it may have been a mobile maintenance compressor. The pulley/flywheel takes 3 belts, 7/8" wide. I believe it to be in good usable condition, and am including a few spare parts, but offering it as-is. I'm asking $1500.00 for it (negotiable).
