The Alexander Model 200 double horn is the celebratory 200 years Gebr. Alexander anniversary model. It is similar to the model 1103 and has an engraved nickel silver garland on the bell flare.Like the 1103, the model 200 features a large wrap design for lower air resistance and easier projection. The lead pipe has an American mouthpiece receiver for flexibility in changing mouthpieces.This horn has a wonderful German sound ( it"s an Alexander! ) slightly darker because of the Gold Brass construction.I encourage you to read the testimonials on Felix Cantesanu's web-site; they describe the qualities of the leadpipe much better than I can.The leadpipe is raw brass - not lacquered.The information I was given is that the horn was built @ 1999 or 2000.This is a clean horn! Check the photos for condition. Over all the horn is in excellent shape with the usual wear and minor dings of a used horn. The valves are excellent with great compression still. Comes with a Pro-Tec case and Holton MC mouthpiece (although you probably have your own).Please ask any questions before bidding to ensure your satisfaction with the horn.FREE SHIPPING within the lower 48 states!
