The Alvarez Regent 5201 is an excellent classical. Built in the 1990s in Korea. This guitar was well cared for. There are surface scruffs in places but overall in nice shape. Most importantly after going through my refresh process, the guitar has perfect action and plays - sounds great. It’s a bargain.My process when I refresh a guitar:1. Remove strings2. Do a complete instrument cleaning.3. Replace any parts that may be needed.4. Clean and lube tuners if needed5. Perform the D’Addario 3-Step clean and polish process. Good stuff!5. Polish the metal frets. Clean the fretboard and apply lemon oil to the rosewood or other fretboard wood used.6. Adjust string height if action is too high or low.7. Put on new strings, Ernie Ball or D’Addario.8. Carefully package the instrument for shipping
