Introducing a rare find: Antique ART NOUVEAU Theatre Opera Iron Folding Chairs by Burlin Co Chicago. These captivating pieces boast a Stylized Botanical design, a hallmark of Art Nouveau. Crafted from iron and steel, they exhibit remarkable craftsmanship and are believed to be from Burlin Products, based on similar known pieces. Despite their age, they are in very good condition, with the metal displaying a gray repaint that adds to their charm. The upholstery, possibly original, might have been removed when they were repainted since the staples look newer. Some minor bending in the steel framing adds character and attests to their authenticity. Each chair folds securely with a bottom latch, measuring approximately 32" in height when unfolded. With unique dimensions of 15 1/2" across, 13 1/2" in depth, and 14" from the front of the seat to the very back, they offer both elegance and functionality. Weighing approximately 11 lbs each, these chairs are a testament to enduring style and are sure to enhance any space with their chic and boudoir appeal.
