A stunning pair of antique (1740-1780) Louis XVI painted fauteuil chairs with down cushions and old upholstery tacks. Very rare to find a matching pair of this age. The layered painted surface in shades of cream, olive green and black on the wood frames adds such character to this 200+ year old set. Clearly in need of re-upholstery but the down cushions could be recovered. The wood frames themselves are strong and comfortable to sit in.33.75H x 21.75W x 22D**Shippingcost is an estimate.
